About Mrs. OldhamAnne Marie Oldham teaches K-8 Performing Arts and is the Sustainability Director and teacher at St. James Academy. She studied voice, piano and choral music education at the University of Michigan School of Music and Biology and Law at University of California. After practicing corporate and international law for 20 years, she returned to education. Ms. Oldham has a passion for combining the arts with cross-curricular sustainability and environmental justice education.
At the request of St. James graduates, Mrs. Oldham formed the private Vocal Academy@St. James. The Vocal Academy includes accomplished vocalists from North San Diego public and private high schools combined with St. James Junior HIgh students. The Vocal Academy has been honored to perform at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York under the direction of composers Eric Whitacre (2012 and 2018) and Deke Sharon (2014-2019). Mrs. Oldham is married with two adult children. She loves nature, hiking, skiing, adventure and eco- travel, reading and all of the arts. |
